A great day and a cool new experience. A buddy and I found Lightning Rides and thought it would be a good change from the usual ATV tours. Plus it let us experience electric off road motorcycles. These bikes are cool. They are small, light and comfortable....and quick! The owner of the company, Kine, took us through a safety briefing and then we took a few laps around his property to get the feel of the bikes and so he could assess our riding abilities. I haven't been on a bike in 20 years so I appreciated his care. Then some simple rides on local farm roads before he took us onto trails. It became more challenging on some of these rutted trails.y advice is to be honest with him and don't exceed your comfort level. He helped us out. If you have dirt bike or trail riding experience you will have no trouble. If not, talk to him about the more gentle trails. He took us on a 2 hour tour through breathtaking mountain top vistas in the Jaco area. Most of the time was spent on dirt roads, some paved roads. We descended using a jungle trail back into Jaco. This is one of the most amazing and coolest experiences I have done in years. I have been dirt biking all my life and this was no different for a fun time. The owner Kene was very thoughtful for all the clients and super friendly. He took us on beginner trails and even more advanced stuff to give everyone and great experiences. The trails are breathtaking and the lookout points over looking Jaco and Esteriollos were stunning. I will do this again and highly recommend this to everyone. What an amazing adventure!! Kine and his team were incredible and took us on an unbelievable ride through the hills of Hermosa to see spectacular views, through rivers and jungle , and back down to the beach. His years of experience as a tour guide allowed us to go places you would never find on your own. The electric bikes were so easy and so much fun to ride allowing us to explore and enjoy nature without the loud sounds of gasoline engines. A truly unforgettable experience and fun for the whole family. Highly recommend
